Dr. Anne Elings is crop physiologist with Wageningen University & Research, Business Unit Greenhouse Horticulture, The Netherlands. He has ample experience with a variety of greenhouse production systems, ranging from the high-tech systems in his home country to low-tech systems in overseas countries. He conducts applied research on issues such as resource use efficiency (light, CO2, heating/cooling), crop photosynthesis and organ growth in combination with the design of the greenhouse. He is also involved with country assessments, knowledge transfer projects, and demonstration projects. Most projects are collaborative activities with for example colleague greenhouse designers and with private enterprises.
