The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with the German Agricultural Society (DLG) and the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) organize the international event AGRITECHNICA ASIA Live 2022 about “Scale-Appropriate Mechanization for sustainable agriculture” from 24 – 26 August 2022 in Can Tho city, Vietnam.

This is an important event bearing the imprint of the Agriculture and Rural Development Industry in 2022 to promote sustainable agricultural farming through the application of advanced and modern technology solutions.

Under the chairmanship of the NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL EXTENSION CENTER – Head of the Organizing Committee, the press conference to introduce the event AGRITECHNICA ASIA Live 2022 will be held in Can Tho on June 30, 2022, with the participation of many Departments, Agricultural Research Institute as well as many enterprises operating and investing in the field of Agriculture.

AGRITECHNICA ASIA Live 2022 will be held with a scale of about 4,000 participants, and domestic and international visitors. Including the main activities: Demonstration of production practices, technology and agricultural machines in the field; Exhibition and exhibition of innovative and sustainable technologies, machines and solutions in the fields of cultivation, animal husbandry, aquaculture, forestry, post-harvest handling and processing of agricultural and food products, and typical OCOP products typical of the region. Along with these live demonstrations and exhibitions, the participants will have the opportunity to attend international forums and workshop on mechanization, smart agriculture, and sustainable production.

AGRITECHNICA ASIA Live 2022 will be an opportunity for farmers to quickly and effectively access modern technologies. For domestic and foreign businesses to promote products, equipment,  exchange and cooperation in the field of agriculture. It also expands the application of agriculture 4.0 and smart technologies through live demonstrations of mechanization and digital agriculture. The event is also a forum for experts, and scientists, to propose policies and a roadmap for the application of technology to transform the agricultural economy sustainably following the actual context of each field and each region. Besides, AGRITECHNICA ASIA Live 2022 also contributes to promoting Vietnamese culture, country and people to international friends.

The event is expected to bring together hundreds of domestic and international enterprises and organizations to participate in technology demonstrations and exhibitions; attract thousands of farmers to visit, study and exchange experiences; connect trade cooperation for many domestic and foreign partners.

The press conference received the response and commitment of many businesses and units operating in the field of Agriculture. The preparation for the event will be closely carried out by the Organizing Committee and widely advertised on domestic and international media.
